Job Title: End User Support Engineer, Uganda

Our client Wipro focuses on the IT services & BPO business, and is one of the world’s leading software and outsourcing service providers. Wipro is seeking to recruit a result driven and motivated individual for the vacancy above:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup of new Desktops
  • New Printer and Replacements
  • Replacement of Desktops
  • Replacement of Printers
  • Hardware Maintenance and Repairs of Desktops
  • Hardware maintenance and repair of Printers
  • Physical Disposal of Desktops
  • Physical Disposal of Printers
  • Computer specification forms signed by users Desktops and monitors
  • Computer equipment movement & Relocation form – Desktops & Monitors
  • In charge of all desktops in IT Workshop
  • SCCM administration
  • SMS OS Image creation of applications using MDT2010
  • Exhibition support
  • Regional Service Center support
  • General hardware management
  • General Software Support and management on client computers after escalation when necessary
  • Blackberry backup/support
Qualifications:
  • 4 years experience and above in a busy corporate environment.
  • Training on MS products like Windows and Server
  • MCSE
  • MS Soultions i.e. Operating Systems and management tools.
Knowledge:
  • Active Directory Management
  • Windows Client Installation and Maintenance
  • Antivirus Administration
  • Knowledge of SCCM/SCOM
  • Ability to work with service desk
