Job Summary: The Trade Development Representative (Quickteller) will manage and enhance the performance of all Quickteller retail channels and agents within a specified territory, overseeing all operational aspects to ensure efficient acquisition, retention, and growth of Quickteller retail channels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire, retain, and grow retail channels in the territory.
- Provide training and ongoing support to agents to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage fraud detection and prevention strategies to protect the integrity of retail channels and transactions.
- Implement branding initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of agents within the territory.
- Ensure agents comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor and supervise agents to ensure they are meeting performance targets and delivering high-quality service.
- Manage and update the agent database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Coordinate merchandising activities to promote products and services effectively.
- Monitor and supervise the distribution team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage liquidity in the territory to support the financial needs of agents and customers.
- Ensure brand equity is maintained in the market of deployment through consistent messaging and customer experience.
- Promote financial inclusivity and digital distribution strategies to expand access to financial services.
- Prepare and present reports to the Regional Business Managers on the performance of retail channels and agents.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in business administration, Economics or equivalent
- One year experience in a similar role, preferably in the sales or financial services industry.
- Computer Literacy i.e. proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
