Founded in 1981, the household brand has served Uganda for over 45 years, producing everything from exercise books and office stationery to specialized security printing services.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, aggressive, and results-driven Senior Sales Manager – General Trade to lead our General Trade sales operations across Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive annual sales revenue target of UGX 30 Billion.
- Develop and execute General Trade sales strategies.
- Recruit, develop, and manage distributors and wholesalers.
- Expand market coverage and product penetration.
- Drive secondary sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years managing General Trade channels.
- Proven track record of managing distributor networks and delivering annual sales revenues exceeding UGX 20 Billion.
- Strong business development, negotiation, leadership, and commercial management skills.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Textiles, FMCG, Packaging, Building Materials, Industrial Products, Plastics, Consumer Goods
