Job Summary: The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant dispatch of finished feed products from Biyinzika Poultry Uganda Limited’s Katega Feed Mill. The role ensures that all dispatch documentation (weighbridge tickets, delivery notes, batch records) is complete, reconciled, and audit-ready.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify dispatch documentation, including delivery notes, weighbridge tickets, and batch release forms.
- Coordinate with the Transport Manager on vehicle scheduling, loading, and clearance.
- Ensure finished product stock is reconciled daily with dispatch records.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance to confirm batch release before dispatch.
- Maintain dispatch registers and submit daily and weekly reports to the Feed Mill Operations Administrator.
- Monitor dispatch timelines to ensure farms receive feed on schedule.
- Enforce compliance with BPUL’s dispatch procedures, safety standards, and biosecurity requirements.
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining complete and accurate dispatch records.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or administrative support in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of documentation processes and stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Precision in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to reconcile stock and dispatch records accurately.
- Competence in ERP platforms for dispatch tracking.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple dispatch schedules.
- Analytical ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Communication skills to coordinate effectively with Transport, Production, and Administration teams.
- Proactive and detail-oriented in managing dispatch documentation.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Management.
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ERP system training and certification.
