Job Summary:   IMK Consultants is seeking a creative, experienced, and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team in Kampala.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Develop and implement effective social media strategies across relevant platforms.
• Build, grow, and actively engage online communities.
• Create compelling and engaging content, including posts, graphics, videos, reels, and stories.
• Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts and online presence.
• Monitor social media trends, audience behaviour, and emerging digital opportunities.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Develop campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement, leads, and online visibility.
• Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using relevant analytics tools.
• Collaborate with the team to develop marketing campaigns and promotional content.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Community Manager, Digital Marketer, or similar role.
• Vast experience in building, growing, and managing online communities.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
• Excellent content creation, communication, and copywriting skills.
• Experience with social media analytics, advertising, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Creative, proactive, and able to identify emerging social media trends.
• Ability to demonstrate previous successful social media campaigns or community-building projects.
