Job Title: Pharmacy Stock Controller

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Raise purchase requisitions, receive supplies, and coordinate stock transfers.
- Verify deliveries for quantity, quality, completeness, and expiry, and prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
- Organize and store inventory using FIFO and FEFO principles while maintaining clean and secure storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update all stock transactions in the system.
- Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance and billing of stock items to patients.
- Monitor expiry dates and process returns of discontinued or expired stock with proper documentation.
- Prepare inventory reports and ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate of training as a Pharmacy Assistant
- Previous experience in stock management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
