Job Summary: Consequently, UNICEF Uganda is looking for one online volunteer who is fluent in English to assist in donor reporting, proposals and other donor related products and materials. This support will include collating information, editing, proofreading, and formatting documents and presentations as per UNICEF related global guidance and standards as well as guidance from resource partners and in line with the signed grant agreements and proposals documentations. Online volunteers will receive feedback on their collaboration and quality of work and a certificate of appreciation upon successful completion of their assignment. They will also be given credit for support where applicable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Collating information, editing and proofreading:

• Assist in collating reviewing and editing content for donor facing documentation including reports, proposals, briefing notes, presentations and related materials.
• Assist in proofreading and formatting external-facing documents and presentations (for resource partners and other external audiences) to ensure they are error-free and of high quality.

Knowledge management:

• Support knowledge management by capturing and documenting lessons learnt, gather feedback, compile, and create knowledge products like infographics and briefs to inform future initiatives.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the country office pipeline tracker, donor reporting schedules.

Collaboration and coordination:

• Coordinate, ork closely with other sections to gather information and organize content that meets their needs.
• Coordinate with the Communication team (for photos and videos) to create visually appealing and engaging reports and presentations.
• The online volunteer will communicate directly with and report to the National UNV Partnerships Specialist at the Uganda Country Office

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Required experience
• UNICEF Uganda is looking for a committed and motivated forward-looking online volunteer who is passionate about children and women with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Previous experience of similar work is preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
