Job Title: Chemistry Assistant Teacher

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning & Delivery:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles .
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a positive, orderly, and safe learning environment conducive to effective teaching and learning .
Student Assessment:
- Set, administer, and mark tests, assignments, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback to students .
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and progress .
Curriculum Implementation:
- Implement the national or school curriculum effectively, ensuring all learning objectives are met .
Student Support:
- Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs, providing remedial instruction where necessary .
Parent Communication:
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and areas for improvement .
Pastoral Care:
- Provide guidance and support to students on personal, social, and academic matters .
Professional Development:
- Participate in continuous professional development, including staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions .
Extracurricular Activities:
- Participate in and support extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, and school events .
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including department heads and school administration, to enhance the quality of education .
Resource Management:
- Utilize teaching aids, materials, and resources effectively to enhance learning experiences .
Discipline:
- Enforce school rules and maintain discipline in the classroom and school environment .
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, adhering to school safety policies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
