Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Elysian Strategic Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a reputable FMCG client to fill the position of Accounts Assistant.
- The successful candidate will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
- Prepare bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial reports and statements
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies
- Assist in audit preparation and documentation management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting/Finance option)
- CPA Level II (added advantage)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- High proficiency in reconciliations and numerical accuracy
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
- High integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Strong communication and reporting skills
