About Organisation:

National Medical Stores (NMS) is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament in 1993. Our mandate is to Procure, Store and Distribute medicines and other medical supplies to health facilities.

Job Summary:   As part of our commitment to nurturing young professionals, NMS invites applications from eligible students for internship placements between January and March 2026.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

To be considered for an internship at NMS, applicants must:

• Be citizens of Uganda.
• Be enrolled in a university or equivalent tertiary institution for a degree program.
• Have completed at least Year II of study.
• Provide an introduction letter from their university indicating the purpose of the internship.
• Attach an updated CV and academic testimonials/result statement.
• Hold a valid Student ID and National Identification Card.
• Clearly indicate the internship period, course, year of study, and expected learning outcomes.
• Have a competitive CGPA, which may be considered during selection.
