Job Summary:   We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Gulu. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Vetcare Uganda’s range of animal health products to veterinary professionals, agro-vets, farmers, and distributors within the Northern region.

 

This role is strictly commission-based, offering excellent earning potential for self-driven individuals with strong sales skills and market knowledge.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Actively promote and sell Vetcare Uganda’s veterinary and animal health product range in Gulu and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers (agro-vets, veterinary officers, farmers, and cooperatives).
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent follow-ups and territory coverage.
  • Identify new business opportunities and gather market intelligence on competitors and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback from the field to management regarding product performance, customer preferences, and market trends.
  • Represent Vetcare Uganda in a professional manner, upholding the company’s values and reputation.

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Animal Production, or Veterinary/Animal Health (preferred).
  • Experience in selling animal health or agricultural products is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be based in Gulu or willing to work full-time in Gulu and nearby districts.
  • Possession of a motorcycle and valid riding permit is an added advantage.

 

Remuneration:

  • Commission-based — earnings depend on performance and sales volume.
  • Attractive commissions for high performers, with opportunities for growth within the company.
