Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing & Public Relations Officer to lead our communications, boost our visibility, and strengthen our engagement with donors, partners, and communities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing and PR strategies to promote Wendi’s mission and projects.
Manage and grow social media platforms, ensuring engaging content in multiple languages (English, Luganda, ).
Design and coordinate campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, donors, and stakeholders.
Prepare and distribute press releases, reports, and success stories that highlight Wendi’s impact.
Support fundraising and donor engagement activities through creative marketing.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and PR efforts.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications (NGO experience is a plus).
Excellent storytelling, writing, and content creation skills.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and social media management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Creative, innovative, and passionate about education and community development.
