Job Title:   Electrician  – Repairs (3 Jobs)

Directly Reports to: Response Team Lead

African Clean Energy (ACE) is a B-Corp certified enterprise that produces and distributes the ACE One solar-biomass hybrid energy system. A small-yet-powerful smokeless stove, it will virtually eradicate the catastrophic impact that traditional cooking and heating methods inflict on health, environment, and poverty in developing countries around the world, and provides electricity.

Job Summary:   African Clean Energy (ACE) is seeking skilled and motivated Electrician – Repairs to support our after-sales service and maintenance operations. Technicians will be responsible for responding to customer issues, diagnosing and resolving product faults, performing preventive maintenance, customer and employee training, and ensuring the long-term functionality of ACE products in the field.

This role is essential to maintaining high customer satisfaction and promoting the reliability and longevity of our clean energy solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to customer service requests via phone, video call, or in-person.
• Diagnose and repair ACE ONE cookstoves and other related equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance visits as per company schedule or customer need.
• Accurately record service data and updates using mobile tools.
• Ensure all spare parts are used responsibly and reported correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized toolkit and adhere to safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issue status and service timelines.
• Support the sales and logistics teams by reporting trends, recurring issues, or field conditions.
• Any other tasks assigned deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• At least Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Repairs or related technical field
• Electrical wiring and repairs Background
• Recommendation and Residence letter from LC 1 Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and repairs.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Results-driven with the ability to focus on achieving set objectives and goals
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
