Job Title:  QC Analyst – Raw Material (Fresher Jobs)

Dei BioPharma Ltd is a biotech and pharmaceutical research firm duly incorporated in Uganda, specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative medicines and vaccines. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, situated in Matugga, Wakiso district, Uganda, shall produce high-quality medicines across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Job Summary:   To perform sampling, testing, and timely release of raw materials while ensuring full compliance with GMP standards in the laboratory environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sampling and testing of raw materials using approved analytical methods
• Monitor raw material shelf life and schedule re-testing as required
• Develop and maintain material specifications, test methods, and SOPs
• Prepare standard operating procedures for raw material sampling and testing
• Maintain accurate analytical records and retention samples
• Compile and report monthly KPIs for the Raw Material Laboratory
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Analytical Chemistry (Master’s preferred)
• Experience: 2-3 years in QC raw material testing within pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of GMP, GLP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, WHO)

Skills:

• Proficiency in analytical laboratory techniques
• Strong documentation practices
• Compliance-oriented mindset
