Job Title:  Branch Coordinator (10 Vacancies)

Duty Station: Kampala and Upcountry Branches, Uganda

The company has a wide spread branch network in Uganda and offers various products including; Civil Servant Loans, Logbook Finance Loans, SME Loans and Private Sector loans among others. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd.

Job Summary:  To market, appraise and directly participate in collection of SME loans in line with stipulated company rules and policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets.
• Analyse disbursement and collections reports and drive appropriate intervention for each individual under your supervision.
• To lead the branch team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring) are adhered to.
• To conduct field visits to clients, guarantors and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage.
• To chair the loan committee, sit in the disbursement meeting and ensure all the loan documentation is in the file and the necessary lending processes are adhered to.
• To recruit, onboard, retain, train and coach new and existing staff at the branch on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio.
• Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all branch staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledgeable about Small and Medium Enterprise Loans.
• Computer knowledge.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
