Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The incumbent will report all incidents, accidents and near misses
    on site.
  • Ensure compliance to Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) to
    protect people and assets at the facility or site
  • Perform an exhaustive annual technical inspection and propose action
    plans in line with the strategy of the region.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of maintenance contracts in the
    assigned region.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the budgetary estimates.
  • Participate in tender processes by providing drawings, technical
    specifications, Bills of Quantities, etc. on projects and other works.
  • Anticipate investment for replacing obsolete equipment.
  • Implement investment budget and ensure timely liquidation.
  • Update technical information to ensure reliability of Data.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicants for the TOTAL Projects and Maintenance Engineer job
    opportunity should hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
    (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Two to five years of experience in Engineering Projects and
    Maintenance supervision in a dynamic environment.
  • Work experience in a Petroleum Industry is an added advantage.
  • Computer knowledge and use of AutoCAD and Microsoft packages.
  • Hold a clean and valid Driving Licence.
