works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them to realize their
potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their own problems and
needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in Pader, Kitgum,
Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.

Job Summary: The Sub Program Accountant will ensure that
accounting systems are maintained to provide the information required for
planning and monitoring and reporting for Sub program operations, for
safeguarding assets, discharging liabilities and legal responsibilities, in
accordance with the LWF Uganda policies and budget provisions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Sub Program
Accountant career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in B Com
(Accounting), BBA (Accounting) or related - Full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc) is
desirable. - At least five (5) years working in accounts and/or finance field in
a reputable firm, public body or NGO. - At least two to three years’ experience in Finance and working with
NGO - Should be self-driven, willing to work long hours and able to multi
task and work with less supervision - Practical experience in use of Accounting system
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
