Job Summary: The Accountant
will prepare and examine financial records for SHU and for the community health
insurance schemes network locally known as MBUSO. He/she will handle book
keeping and financial data processing, cash flow management, reconciliations,
financial planning and reporting, budgeting, external auditing of the books,
supervise office administration staff, prepare all payments and deliver them to
the concerned officers in time, enter all financial data in the accounting
application, keep all financial records, maintain assets registers, and train
other staff members and MBUSO leaders to appropriately handle their accountancy
related tasks.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
Administration. - A
minimum of three years of related work experience in a similar position with
a very busy organization. - Knowledge
and experience of using an accounting package preferably Quickbooks is a
must.
