Reports To: Secretary Manager
Job Purpose: Posting and balancing the SACCOs books of accounts and computer systems and making timely financial reports, plans and budgets.
Masindi District Farmers Association-SACCO (MADFA) Sacco is seeking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Operations
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all vouchers are properly completed and authorized before they are posted to the SACCO’s books of accounts.
- Compile the SACCO’s day sheets/ OBAS on a daily basis.
- Balance the General Ledger/ OBAS and the Client’s ledgers and produce the end of the day balancing report on a daily basis.
- Initiate and, with the approval of the Manager, take responsibility for the recovery proceedings against any loan defaulters that may exist in SACCO loan portfolio.
- To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of all client files under his control,
- Prepare financial reports, projects/ budgets in time.
- Monitor branches and report their financial positions on time.
- Attend to any other matter as shall from time to time be delegated by the Manager.
Qualifications: Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce.
Work experience: 2 years in Sacco operations or any financial institution
