About the Company:
Focal Development Finance Limited is a development finance institution that specialises in financial and advisory services to micro and small entrepreneurs in Uganda. It is licensed and regulated as a non-deposit taking microfinance institution by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority.
Job Summary:
- A four months training attachment under the senior credit team to develop first hand practical skills and competences in micro and small business credit. Training shall emphasise learning by doing, comprehensively covering credit processes such as sales, client assessment, appraisal, reporting, risk management, monitoring, customer care and market research.
- Trainee allowance
- Trainee shall have opportunity for employment if proved satisfactory after training period.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A recent graduate (2023/2024) with a bachelor’s degree in microfinance, business studies, sales or a related field
- Internship experience
