About the Company:
Roke Telkom is a Uganda-based telecommunications company that has been fully licensed since 2006 by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) as a Public Service Provider (capacity Resale, Voice & Data) and Public Infrastructure Provider.
Job Summary: Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Develop and maintain cloud solutions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments
- Solid cloud experience and virtualization
- Experience with monitoring systems.
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Knowledge and experience in VOIP systems will be an added advantage
- Four years of proven work experience
