Centenary Bank is a leading Commercial Microfinance Bank serving over a third of the banking population with services that can be accessed across 80 branches, 191 ATMs and over 5,200 CenteAgents and other digital platforms.

 

Job Summary:  Oversees cybersecurity operations, including team leadership, incident response, policy development, risk management and security operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing cybersecurity plans aligned with organizational goals and risk tolerance.
  • Building and leading a cohesive cybersecurity team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Overseeing incident response activities to minimize the impact of security breaches or incidents, including coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing day-to-day security operations, such as monitoring systems for security breaches, investigating anomalies, and ensuring timely response to security incidents.
  • Creating and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks effectively.
  • Identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure the security of outsourced systems, services, and products.
  • Transacting business at various Bank Management Committees.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related area.
  • Master’s Degree in an IT related area (Desirable)
  • Professional Qualification (Minimum): ITIL, CISSP/CEH/CISM

Required Experience and Competences:

  • Five (5) years experience in managing design, development and delivery cybersecurity assurance in a large financial institution or a reputable organization of which 3 years must have been at leadership position
