Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager – Digital Services, the Manager – Digital Services GTM will play a key strategic and operational role in realizing the brand’s objectives for adoption, experience, usage, and revenue from digital services.
The ideal candidate is digitally native, outrageously creative, driven, and able to work with teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To proactively develop and own Go-to-Market plans while ensuring timely execution thereof for Digital services
- To identify, build and manage partnerships that drive adoption, quality and usage of MTN Digital services
- To manage relationships and collaboration efforts with content partners and aggregators for the growth of digital services
- To proactively build and execute fully, timely and market relevant content plans to drive growth of RMS (Music, Game, Video, etc)
- To manage relationships with MTN partners for digital services; ensuring present of up to date contracts and adherence to compliance standards of MTN and its regulators
- To proactively monitor and track performance of services as well as impact of GTM initiatives so as to ensure timely intervention
- To ensure compliance in delivery of services as it relates to: regulatory policies, Treat customer fairly (TCF) policies, Contract obligations, and any other policies and standards that may arise.
- To participate in digital products & service design as well user acceptance testing during delivery thereof
- To manage and support delivery and development of staff supervised by the role
KPA Quality Standards/ Measures (KPI’S for job)
- Performance of digital services across the dimensions of uptake, usage, customer experience and revenue
- Market leadership on NPS, Market share and Revenue share
- Efficient and timely execution of GTM campaigns and initiatives
- Quality of relationship and collaboration efforts with digital services partners
- Compliance status on regulatory policy as well as MTN group and OPCO compliance policies and standards
Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks
- Guiding, supporting and working the internal stakeholders in the organisation especially in Marketing, CEX and Legal departments
- Work in close collaboration with Digital services partners and MTN GTM agencies
- Proactively ensure compliance with regulatory, Group and OPCO standards and policies.
Role Dependencies
- Understanding and Appreciation of MTN’s digital vision
- Digitally native and naturally passionate about tech more so rich media services like Music, Gaming and Video
- A team player who can work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Great Communication skill both spoken and written
- Curious on both local and global trends in digital mobile content service consumption
- Being able to see the big picture and align initiatives to enable the big picture
- Always up to date with New technology and opportunities it provides
- Flexible and a quick learner
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education:
- A degree in Digital marketing or a related field from an accredited University
Experience:
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar or related role
- Demonstrate passion for tech &mobile content, as well as creative capability to drive digital services
- Demonstrate passion for Mobile Content including Music, Game, Video
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the local Music industry
- Knowledge of local and global trends in digital content consumption especially Music, Gaming and Video
- Must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across with multiple partners
- Tech Savvy
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to see both the “big picture” and on small project details
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player, Professional and collaborative with excellent English communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritize
