Job Summary: The Company seeks to hire an Administrative Clerk responsible for providing support for day-to-day administrative requirements, functions, and general office management with instructions received from the immediate supervisor and procedures as per OML Uganda standards.
Job Purpose: The Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing support for day-to-day administrative requirements, functions, and general office management with instructions received from the immediate supervisor and procedures as per OML Uganda standards
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver important documents or packages within the office or to external partners.
- Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to front Desk inquiries.
- Maintain professional and cooperative relationships.
- Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments and statutory compliances.
- Ensure that reception services are provided in such a fashion that visitors are provided with a warm welcome and that their needs are swiftly attended to.
- Ensure that all incoming communications (telephone calls, letters, email etc.) are responded to professionally and reliably passed on to the appropriate person(s).
- Ensure that the office environment is clean, well-organized, and attractive.
- Ensure that Office equipment is switched off accordingly and the premises securely closed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and engagements.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an O’ Level certificate
- Excellent Computer knowledge
- At least two years of previous experience in busy organization.
- Must be a Ugandan citizen
