structural monopoly in the distribution of electricity across Uganda,
distributing 99% of electricity in Uganda through a single buyer model.
Job Summary: The Service Center Supervisor will be
responsible for the efficient implementation of Business Plans at sub- district
Level as designed and directed by the District Manager from time to time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the customers’ satisfaction through driving timely resolution
of faults, timely execution of new connections and timely resolution of
customer complaints. - Manage the commercial cycle by ensuring proper installation of
appropriate meters taking into account the customer consumption category. - Supervise the process of ensuring meters installed are promptly and
accurately set up in the Customer Care and Billing System - Supervise prompt and accurate meter readings for all clients in area
of operation, and ensuring maximum sales revenue collections. - Enforce the company’s safety and environment policy by ensuring that
only competent and authorized personnel access the network in areas of
operation. - Promptly and accurately report and/or escalating all safety
incidents, near misses inclusive in accordance with the Company Safety
Incident Reporting procedure. - Manage the performance and development of all staff at the sub-
district in line with the HR policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Umeme Service Center Supervisor job
vacancy must hold an honors degree in Business Administration, Finance or
related Field. - A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in a
commercially driven organization with high standard business ethics.
