Job Summary: We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and engaging Digital Skills Trainer who can effectively design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enhance our workforce’s digital competencies. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to various skill levels, stay current with emerging technologies, and measurably improve our team’s digital proficiency to support our organization’s digital transformation goals
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training needs analysis – Assess current skill levels and identify gaps in digital competencies of the trainees.
- Curriculum design – Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to address identified skill gaps and organizational needs.
- Content creation – Prepare training materials, including presentations, tutorials, and hands-on exercises.
- Training delivery – Conduct engaging and effective training sessions, both in-person and online.
- Technology expertise – Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant digital tools, software, and platforms.
- Personalized instruction – Provide one-on-one support to learners struggling with specific concepts or tools.
- Progress evaluation – Assess learner progress and adjust training methods as needed.
- Feedback collection – Gather and analyze participant feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Post-training support – Offer ongoing assistance to help learners apply new skills in their work.
- Collaboration – Work with department heads to ensure training aligns with specific team needs and organizational goals.
- Reporting – Provide regular updates on training outcomes and impact on management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant technical and instructional design certifications.
- Three to five years’ experience in digital skills training.
- Proficiency in various digital tools and current technology trends.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Experience in both in-person and online training delivery.
- Project management skills for training programs.
- Ability to develop soft skills in digital contexts.
- Data analysis skills for assessing training effectiveness.
- Ability to stay current with technological advancements
- Skill in creating effective learning curricula.
- Ability to develop engaging training materials
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Quick problem-solving during technical issues.
- Patience and empathy with learners.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
- Assessment and evaluation.
- Skill in measuring learning outcomes.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback.
