Microfinance operating in Uganda covering several districts through 163
networked branches targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of Uganda.
BRAC boasts of promoting financial inclusion by extending financial services to
the un-served and underserved, now with over 218,598 borrowing clients, over
180Bn loan book with 97% recovery rate, operationally and financially self
sustaining.

Job Summary:  The Supervisor Back Office Settlement will
supervise clearing of cheques and money transfer process, closely communicate
with various internal and external parties and stay sensitive to market
developments, produce documentation on business plans, system requirements,
operating procedures, and guidelines..

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd Supervisor Back
    Office Settlement job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business related
    course
  • Three years of experience in banking and credit operations
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statements
    analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the
    financial statements.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to meet the recurrent deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Banking Operations, clearing and funds transfer
    services
