The Association of
Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Uganda (AOGU) is a registered non-profit,
professional organization with a mandate to promote professionalism, undertake
research, represent its members at local, regional, international level and
champion Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights of the people in the region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide driving services for the team and others involved with our
projects as instructed by the Project Administrator. - Check basic maintenance (oil, coolant, water, tyre pressure, battery
water) regularly. - Maintain a daily log of all trips, mileage and fuel consumption for
monthly checking by the Project Administrator. - Complete information required for monthly vehicle reports to be
submitted to the line manager. - Ensure that all major incidents are reported to the National Project
Coordinator immediately. - Ensure that vehicles are taken to the garage in good time when
faults emerge. - Ensure that vehicles are clean at all times.
- Perform any other duties as instructed by the line manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold an Ordinary level Certificate of
Education - Valid Driving Permit – Class B, DL
- At least four years’ service in a reputable organization
- Defensive Driving Skills
- Mechanical Skills
- Competences: Communication Skills, Customer Care Skills, Information
handling and filing skills, Personal Integrity, Result Orientation,
Reliability.
NB: This position is open to Ugandan nationals
only.
