About Organisation:

Salem Brotherhood Uganda Limited was established in 1981 by Gottfried Müller and friends as a non-governmental organisation (NGO). SALEM comes from the Hebrew word SHALOM which means peace. To bring the message of peace to Uganda was a heroic idea. They are currently implementing a Malnutrition project in Mbale, Bukedea, Butebo and Budaka districts.

Job Summary: The Driver will be responsible for providing support to project staff road travel needs, ensuring maintenance and effective running of office and field vehicles by monitoring their performance, preparing monthly vehicle logbook analysis and present reports. Shall perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• At least O’ level education
• Fluent in English language both spoken and written, age below 40 yrs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with 3 classes and above
• Three years of driving experience in a reputable organization/institution, with good vision/ driving without aid of spectacles.
• A certificate of driving course/motor vehicle repair is an added advantage.
