Job Summary: This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Executive at Jora Shoes Company (U) LTD. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. This role is located in Rubaga, Kampala with flexibility for some remote work of not less than 60% of work time. The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Manage sales pipeline
- Analyze the market and establish competitive advantages
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- One year of experience in the sales industry
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
- Prior experience in business development or sales, preferably in the footwear industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
