Job Summary: The Project Manager will ensure that the project stays on track, within budget, and meets all deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in the music industry, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan detailing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with artists, producers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the album recording and bootcamp.
Budget Management:
- Create and manage the project budget, ensuring all activities are carried out within allocated funds.
- Monitor expenses and provide regular budget reports to senior
Team Management:
- Leada cross-functional team, including marketing, PR, social media, event coordination, and production teams.
- Assign tasks, set deadlines, and hold team members accountable for their deliverables.
Logistics and Operations:
- Oversee logistics for the bootcamp, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and venue setup.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and resources are available for recording sessions and promotional activities.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies for the album.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Servaes the primary point of contact for all project-related
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory
Quality Control:
- Ensure the final product meets the highest quality
- Oversee the mixing and mastering process, and approve final versions of tracks.
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Music Management, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in project management, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects within budget and on time.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of the Ugandan music industry is a plus
