Job Summary: The National Key Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring new clients primarily within a target base by identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business and follow up on opportunities generated through leads, cold calling, referrals from existing clients and other channels.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, gaining clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
- Gather market information and represent LIT-Uganda at trade exhibitions, events etc.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on pricing, delivery specifications etc. Provide cost calculations and ensure quotations are provided to customers per the sales operation process.
- Support the Group/Regional Account Managers with their acquisition strategies and leverage global deals to win locally.
- Ensure all contracted revenue streams are invoiced and accounted for.
- Maintain allocated product mix to reflect the aims of the business aligned to specified objectives.
- Document and maintain proposals, contracts etc. on Sales Force for allocated portfolio.
- Coordinate with the Technical Team for Solutions Management.
- Assess customer satisfaction and capture lessons learnt to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A related Bachelor’s Degree in Business
- A minimum of three years of business development experience in the ICT industry is required.
- Computer literate, including experience on a CRM system
