Job Title:       Human Resource Officer

Duty Station: Mbale, Uganda

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Independence Avenue. in Mbale City is a private hospital which has been in operation since 2009 with a Mission of providing timely and cost effective specialized clinical services using motivated professional for a satisfying client experience and a Vision of ‘A preferred health service provider.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing job descriptions and the management of employment processes
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and system
• Communicating to staff about issues affecting their performance
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
• Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
• Assist in performance management processes
• Oversee the health and safety of all employees

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of degree in Human resources
• Three years of experience in human resources
• Working knowledge of employee legislations. full understanding of HR functions and best practices
• Labour relations certificate will be an added advantage
