Job Summary: We are currently recruiting experienced Start Up Site Leader on behalf of a major international Company
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The job holder is responsible for ensuring a safe and in-time initial start-up of Tilenga facility, in line with the Start-up Philosophy and requirements, which includes the preparation during engineering phase and the full execution during Hook-UP / Commissioning / Start-Up phases on site.
- The Job holder is responsible for ensuring EPSCC Contractor develops in time the Tilenga Start-up Execution Plan, the specific Start-Up execution procedures, and all relevant documents that will drive the success of the initial Start-up and, during the engineering phase, provides support to the Field Operation team and Engineering team for any matter related to the start-up, as requested
- The Job holder shall ensure the timely preparation of all necessary procedures documentation, materiel and organisation for the execution of the start-up . He shall take knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures in liaison with the Commissioning Manager and the Field Operations Commissioning and Hand-Over Coordinator. He shall ensure adequate and sufficient witnessing of commissioning activities.
- The Job holder shall ensure adequate organisation of EPSCC and FOPS Contractors to perform a successful start-up. In particular, he shall ensure start-up team readiness: organisation, competency, training, knowledge of the installations, availability of equipments and spare parts. He shall anticipate any concern that could impact the planning or safe execution of the start-up, and propose constructive mitigations.
- The job holder will assist Commissioning Site Leader and Field Operations Commissioning and Hand-Over Coordinator in leak tests, first fills, pre commissioning & commissioning, and advise the RSES in order to reach the RFSU milestone in schedule. The Job holder will supervise full implementation, execution and follow-up of the start-up, as well as the performance tests activities.
- The job holder shall ensure that the technical interfaces with the Package (Engineering team) and regarding matters related to the startup of the asset are dully managed, in particular that the design is adequate and provides sufficient flexibility for the preparation and execution of the initial Start-Up
- The job holder reports to the FOPS & FPSO Operations Leader (later on to Offshore field manager) and will be supported by several discipline leaders (Engineers) during the execution of commissioning and start-up: he will have to inform and motivate them regarding the achievement priorities and give them directions for the performance of their duties.
- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing HSE rules within his area of responsibility.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Service Provider must have the following qualifications:
- HND, Diploma, (or equivalent) Appropriate Engineering qualification with associated experience of supervising operation and/or commissioning in Oil and Gas, large utility operations/projects.
- Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum +/-15 years.
- Experience in similar position (years): +/- 10 – with Full knowledge of Field operations.
- Expert knowledge and experience of mechanical, piping and safety systems Commissioning & Start-up work preparing commissioning strategy, developing network planning, coordinating integrated plan, contractor follow up and supervision during pre-commissioning and commissioning, management of systems handover process and integration with field operations teams.
- Proven experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of large rotating machinery.
- A broad knowledge of all aspects of the E&P business, experience in a multi-project E&P company environment with a thorough understanding of the technical and commercial issues and risks associated with the project.
- Management and leadership skills in order to guide a team of multi-disciplined personnel including contractors
- A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. English mandatory.
This job will be on Rotation basis
