Job Summary: The
Senior Civil Engineer will support the production process of EUL by improving
plant availability, plant health and increasing asset life through application
of good leadership and electrical engineering practices aimed at meeting the
overall EUL business strategy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Executes design work.
  • Contributes to the integrity of the asset base
  • Delivers standardization output
  • Performs technical studies.
  • Consults on discipline related issues.
  • Administration
  • Conducts Incident Investigations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant for the Eskom Senior Civil Engineer job placement
    should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Compulsory Professional registration reputable body: Registered
    Engineer with Uganda Engineers Registration Board.
  • A minimum of five years of practical and related work experience as
    a Civil Engineer in a hydro power plant is an added advantage.
