Job Summary: Are you administratively savvy and enthusiastic about keeping finances and operations running smoothly? We’re hiring for a Finance and Operations Manager who will be instrumental to ensuring effective organizational and financial systems across all departments. This role will serve as our organizational point person for contract administration, invoicing, office management, and organizational systems and the organizational liaison to our external finance and accounting team for bookkeeping and budget management.
We are looking for someone who is great with numbers and excited to collaborate with colleagues and consultants to ensure Omziki’s finance operations are accurate and effective. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all incoming revenue and outgoing expenses for the organization, working closely with Omziki staff and contract finance and accounting staff to manage and track diverse funding — from government grants and contracts to foundations and individual donors — including overseeing timely and efficient reimbursements and invoice processing.
- Working with external accounting consultants on the monthly, quarterly, and annual financials and audits.
- Serving as an effective communicator on organizational processes and finances, including annual organizational budget development.
- Managing the organization’s offices to ensure a functional, healthy, productive work environment.
- Working with leadership on managing and improving systems and processes to help the organization run seamlessly.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in nonprofit operations, organizational finances, administering royalties, office management, and/or other administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to strategize creatively, think critically, and proactively address issues.
- Proponent of continuous process improvement.
- Exceptional communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, responsibility and maintaining transparency.
- Self-starting work ethic, comfortable with both collaborative and independent work.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deal effectively with ambiguity.
- Familiarity and experience using any of the following software is a plus: Google Suite, Asana, Coda, Slack, Salesforce, Zoom, Quickbooks.
Pay: $200.00 – $500.00
