Job Summary:   The Production and Tech Manager is an integral part of our Operations, the Production and Tech Manager is a people, product, process oriented person with strong leadership skills with good details to analysis and reporting. You should be a team player, you should be able to fire motivation into your team and attain set targets consistently and be able to present the same to the HOD. You are good with managing spare stock and you will be in charge of maintaining tools and parts to sound status.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Production & Tech inventory & ensure they are at best working conditions and share weekly status on the same.
  • Lead and Manage Production and tech teams while achieving best target results consistently.
  • Effectively monitor and manage production timelines and deadlines.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage product kitting processes while managing costs.
  • Lead a team of production and tech members while encouraging participation and growth.
  • Share respective tech and production reports to the Head of operations on a daily basis on output.
  • Training and leading your teams to success.
  • Champion Health & Safety best practice.
  • Work closely with the Head of operations to manage cost.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to collect complaints and identify potential product quality issues.
  • Ensure that all technicians and service center representatives are trained regularly on diagnostic tests and repairs protocols.
  • Collaborate with the data team to evaluate and automate reports and processes.
  • Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently meeting production targets and delivery deadlines
  • Plan and schedule assembly of products to achieve production targets, set and communicate production individual and group targets.
  • Schedule the release of raw materials with Inventory Team Leader to meet production needs.
  • Ensure all production tools and other equipment used to assemble products are available and working properly.
  • Ensure adherence to all processes and make sure that all team members get the needed training and support to be successful.
  • Ability to work with ERPs and tech production tools.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a relevant University degree  in Production and technical related field
  • At least three years of experience in a production and technical capacity, knowledge of renewable energy especially Solar, Battery, etc is a required.
  • Previous team management experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process change.
  • Ability to work in a TEAM setting.
  • Ability to build and enhance relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Good forecasting and demand analytics.
  • Experience with working in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • Language(s): Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Technology: Microsoft suites – required
