Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.

Job Summary:   The Internal Audit Assistant will support the Internal Audit function at Mildmay Uganda, in ensuring an independent systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards designed to add value and improve operations. S/He will also be responsible for providing reasonable assurance in compliance with donor requirements, internal controls, corporate governance and ensuring that risk management systems are functioning as intended.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a first degree preferably in B. Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting), Bachelor’s in Economics, Statistics, or any other business degree, plus part Qualification in ACCA, CPA. (CIA will be an added advantage).
• At least two years of experience in audit (internal or external audit), in a reputable organisation.
• Experience in auditing hospitals, research centres and NGOs will be an added advantage.
