Job Summary:   We are looking for a detail-oriented, aggressive and market driven individual to develop and increase company revenue by identifying profitable new business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies in Eastern Africa.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the right candidate will include:

  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sells the company’s services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance recommending service improvements via tools set up by the company.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Plans monthly visits to clients: existing and prospects
  • Makes phone calls or sends emails to arrange meetings. Follow up on meeting requests
  • Monthly reports of visits and main findings and relevant information for follow-up
  • Follow up on client queries (in presence, by email or phone) and provides update information
  • Receives clients’ complaints, records it on database and finds a solution.
  • Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Be persuasive and have strong business acumen.
  • Be able to interact at executive levels and negotiate sound business deals.
  • Effective change management and motivation skills
  • Display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Ability to translate business strategy to the tactical activities necessary to generate expected results.
  • Aware of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Quick learner, can understand basic technical principles
  • Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media
  • Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
