Job Summary: The Parts Procurement Administrator will be tasked to achieve Parts sales growth plans and business objectives through the timely and accurate placement of stock orders, effective management of the Parts supply chain and optimal stock holding ensuring parts availability at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain, develop and promote effective networks with both customers and suppliers on parts issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate orders are made and dispatched in conformity to supplier standards.
- Checks parts costings and rewards to Parts Manager for approval and onward forwarding.
- Manage parts stock ordering.
- Manage Vehicle Off Road parts ordering
- Give support to stock take activities.
- Prepare monthly departmental reports on parts cost sales and service rates capturing well as monthly reviews.
- Ensure job process flows and procedures are in conformity with guidelines.
- Management of parts lost sales for parts out of stocks.
- Monitor works in progress and ensures proper updating of customer orders waiting for parts as well as vehicles.
- Receive parts and make sure they are released into stock on a timely basis
- Coordinate stock consignment documentation and avail them to the clearing agents for timely goods clearance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or a related business discipline.
- Experience in the Automotive industry may be an added advantage.
