Job Summary: The Credit Administration Officer will be responsible
for preparation of relevant credit, Finance & statutory reports in line
with credit policy and division work plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify accounts due for write off as per FIA & MDI, prepare
reports and recommend to management for approval - This document has been classified as CONFIDENTIAL-EXTERNAL by
Centenary Bank. - Prepare accurate NPA, NPR and watch listed analysis reports monthly,
obtain cause of default for all credit facilities above Ushs.200m and
submit reports to management in line with the credit policy and
guidelines. - Prepare accurate loan to value report (LTV) reports as per BOU
format and top borrowers’ reports based on BOU and Management formats on a
monthly basis in line with the credit guidelines. - Prepare accurate monthly analysis of demand for credit facilities
and growth reports in line with the Bank guidelines and credit policy. - Generate daily overdraft reports including unauthorized and expired
reports to establish any irregularities and ensure remedial action in line
with Credit Policy and guidelines. - Verify all management Information System (MIS) related issues raised
by branches, analyze and recommend remedial action, seek management’s
approval thereof and coordinate resolution in liaison with Business
Technology/ Finance Division and branches. - Identify and maintain diary to track all insider credit facilities
and proactively ensure all are correctly marked in the system in line with
the credit policy. - Review the FDR report to identify newly disbursed loans with
incorrect interest rate, loans in arrears, loans whose maturity exceeds
the TD expiry date and follow up for corrective action. - Identify accounts for data clean up, recommend for approval and take
corrective action in line with the credit policy and guidelines. - Participate in the preparation of the provisions in line with the
new reporting standard IFRS - Prepare Agri business reports in line with the Business Requirements
- Support the management of risks in the Credit Management Division
with the ultimate objective of minimizing losses and uncertainties to
enable the bank to achieve its strategic objectives through;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Credit Administration
Officer job placement should hold a Honours Bachelor’s degree - Two years’ experience in the Bank
