Job Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Specialist based in Kampala. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Vela Technologies products and services. This includes conducting market research, sales, customer service, and managing marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or any computer-related course.
- Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include familiarity with the IT industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in market research and analysis
- Proven track record in sales and customer service
- Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Proficient in digital marketing, with experience in SEO, SEM, and social media marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
