Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our PHP-based applications. Your primary focus will be the development and execution of detailed tests to verify the functionality and performance of our software products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for PHP-based applications.
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or defects encountered during testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues that arise in the testing process.
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testability.
- Provide detailed reports and metrics on test results and progress.
- Participate in the planning and development of new features, offering input on potential quality issues and risks.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role, specifically with PHP applications.
- Familiarity with various testing techniques (e.g., regression, stress, load) and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of PHP programming language.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality results.
- Experience with SQL and databases is a plus.
