Job Summary:   The Operator will ensure the safe operation of one or more discrete processes in the Brewing & Utilities plant, the execution of maintenance tasks, quality control checks and analyses, and the coaching of fellow team members to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare for plant start up
• Start up plant
• Run the plant
• Shut down the plant
• Execute cleaning of plant
• Complete all documentation
• Control inputs usage
• Ensure plant is in working order
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment
• Measure performance attributes
• Record performance attributes
• Monitor and evaluate trends
• Assure quality of inputs
• Initiate corrective action
• Communicate effectively in the workplace
• Contribute to self and team development

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Diploma in chemical engineering/industrial chemistry
• Ability to work shifts
• Experience in working in a NPD process environment
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving ability
