Job Summary:   As a member of Strategy and Transactions team, you’ll participate in due diligence, valuation and business modelling, strategic digital advisory, M&A advisory engagements related to transactions involving private equity/ financial investor groups as well as strategic corporate companies. Specifically, you will be a part of a team seeking to help clients plan mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, debt and equity sourcing

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial and operational results of acquisition targets through the preparation of various analyses by reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management, including finance, operations, human resources and marketing.
• Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, performing financial modeling, valuations analysis; mergers and acquisitions; assisting in the facilitation of strategic sessions and developing strategic plans.
• Maintain a strong client focus by serving client needs and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients.
• Engage with the client target company to document and assess information, reporting directly to the manager. Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and winning repeat business.
• Evaluate the effects of seasonal and cyclical changes on cash flow requirements.
• Perform industry and company research- identifying and exploring potential new business.
• Uses written communication skills to develop internal and client documentation, including key analyses, reports and recommendations.
• Direct the progress of fieldwork, inform managers of the engagement status, and manage staff performance as required.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules as required.
• Bring potential opportunities to the team’s attention as well as seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY’s services.

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must be a University degree with at least 2nd upper class from any reputable University and preferably in a business-related field.
• CPA/ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification.
• At least three to five years of related work experience in reputable consulting firm.
• Demonstrating your professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service.
• Creative, innovative and possess the ability to think outside of the box.
• Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
• Excellent use of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Powerpoint and Excel.
• Dedication, project-management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
• The ability to work efficiently within a given budget and schedule, providing top-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience leading, planning, execution and reporting on assignments.
• Proficiency with financial research tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
