About US:
National Medical Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament in 1993. Our mandate is to Procure, Store and Distribute medicines and other medical supplies to health facilities.
Job Summary: The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support the mission of National Medical Stores.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features
- Test and debug software to ensure it meets functional requirements
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing software
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in software development and technologies
- Ensure software applications are developed in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
- Work with industry RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) to design and implement required enterprise solutions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology and Computing, Management Information Systems, Statistics with Computing Option, or Mathematics with Computing Option or any related field
- Two years of software development experience
- Demonstrated Experience of any programing project shall be an added advantage
