that rescues vulnerable children and restores dignity to them by providing
holistically for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Watoto has
operations in Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi and Gulu.

Job Summary: Secondary
Teachers will support in planning, preparing and delivering high standards of
education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·      
To plan, prepare and delivery lessons to
students while ensuring high standards of practice and quality of teaching and
learning of the subjects.

·      
To plan, prepare and conduct lessons according
to the set standards of Watoto schools and implements teaching programs that
are consistent with the ethos of the school.

·      
To provide guidance and advice to students on
education, social matters and future careers to aid the young people in making
good career choices.

·      
To carry out appropriate and fair assessment of
learners progress and keep records of all assessments on file.

·      
To demonstrate good stewardship of resources and
property in the school by ensuring safe custody and optimum use of equipment.

·      
To assist students in developing self-discipline
and independence.

·      
To create a learning space where the needs of
the students and teachers are met, respected and protected.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·      
The applicant for the Watoto Teacher job
opportunity should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

·      
At least three (3) years experience in teaching.

·      
Good communication and interpersonal skills,
high degree of flexibility and initiative.

·      
Commitment to work within a team environment and
ability to work under minimal supervision.
