Job Title:  Chinese/English Translator/Interpreter (2 Job Vacancies)

China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. (U), Ltd was established on 31st November 2014.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate the English technical data, contracts, equipment descriptions, mechanical drawings and other materials required by the project;
  • Responsible for the translation of faxes, letters, emails, etc. for daily data translation projects and foreign business contacts;
  • Assist the project department to participate in various business negotiations, and be responsible for interpretation work on the construction site;
  • Cooperate with leaders to handle external public relations, have good business literacy, and participate in external liaison and reception of foreign guests in business activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in English major of a full-time foreign studies university;
  • Luganda is the first language;
  • Solid foreign language skills.
  • It is best to have life experience abroad or in the country where the language is located, and understand the local customs and customs.
  • Have professional knowledge in the field of pipeline construction and be familiar with some proper terms.
  • Keep business secrets.
  • Those with relevant experience are preferred;
  • At least three years of working experience
