Job Summary: GENPROF microfinance is looking for highly motivated and competent individuals to fill the position of Graduate Interns. The Graduate Intern will be responsible for assisting Credit Officers to maintain and manage quality loan portfolio and an increased quality client base in the assigned areas of operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote GENPROF products and services to prospective customers in areas of operation
- Train prospective customers about GENPROF products and services and support customers to take GENPROF products and services.
- Receive loan applications.
- Recruit new clients and advise them to take GENPROF microfinance products and services.
- Assist Credit Officers assigned to you to maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
- Recover loan repayment instalments from clients.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Manage client database system.
- Establish good customer service in areas of operation.
- Maintain an increased quality client base.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must have a diploma or degree in any discipline.
- You must have graduated not more than 2 years ago.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft excel and word, and knowledge on any financial data management software.
- Excellent communication, analytical and sales skills.
- Must be innovative and be able to develop solutions for problems in a short time.
- Ability to handle multi-tasks under minimum supervision.
- Must be between the age of 20-28 years.
- Good command of both spoken and written English. Fluency in Lusoga or Luganda is an added advantage.
- Demonstrable track record of high integrity, reliability, credibility and dependable.
- Networking and influencing skills.
- Writing and reporting skills.
