Job Summary:  The Finance Lead is reserved for someone who has at least 5 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, including leadership and management experience.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance and create value, to help shape the strategic direction of the company.
  • To develop financial models to evaluate specific business initiatives and establish procedures for budget and forecast preparation, prepare the annual budget in consultation with the Team Lead and manage the cash flow and prepare cashflow forecasts.
  • Advise the company on the optimal capital structure, balancing equity and debt, and supporting the company in accessing the capital needed to grow its portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and implement monthly variance reporting against the budget.
  • Develop and maintain systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of processes and reports that provide business managers with timely financial data to make decisions and monitor performance.
  • Leading, planning, and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
  • In charge of monitoring financial details to ensure legal compliance at all times and analyzing revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to assist management to make financial decisions.
  • Investigating means to improve profitability in the company based on new financial generating opportunities.
  • Reviewing and processing payments of the company ranging from salaries to payments and service providers.
  • Maintains an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a BA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of managerial experience.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative skills, including financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Understanding of confidentiality
  • Adept at analyzing information
  • Decision-making skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Financial modeling skills
